Dangerous
Goods by Sea - IMDG Code Advanced Course ![]()

Introduction
New responsibilities are coming into effect next January, from the International
Maritime Association for those involved in consigning and transporting Dangerous
Goods by sea. Section 1.3.1.1 of Amendment 34-08, requires from January
2010, that general awareness / familiarisation training, function-specific
training and safety training be given to relevant shoreside staff, whose
duties concern the carriage of dangerous goods by sea.
Objectives
Export Edge Training are delivering this 2 day in-depth training course to meet the IMDG regulations for personnel engaged in the transport of dangerous goods by sea. This course is delivered by our experienced trainer, who is also highly qualified in IATA and ADR regulations.
Target Audience
This internationally recognised course, designed for the shore traffic and operations staff of consignors and cargo agents, is also useful to: Shipping department staff of manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and exporters and hauliers who wish to expand or refresh their knowledge of dangerous goods by sea regulations and procedures.
Certification
On completion of this course successful students will receive an approved Dangerous Goods by Sea Certificate in accordance with the IMDG Code
